The students of the Texas Chiropractic College learn how to develop patient-doctor relationships, diagnose patients and enhance their skills of communication. Physical therapy, treatment techniques, professional issues, spinal adjustment, manipulation and other similar therapeutic procedures are taught at the College. Laboratory and clinical components have also been an essential part of the Texas Chiropractic College.
The Texas Chiropractic College provides an out-patient care facility, Moody Health Centre, which is located on campus. This teaching centre offers services of Family Medicine, Chiropractic, Injury Care, Nutritional Consultation, Rehabilitation, Acupuncture, onsite Radiology and Workers’ compensation. In combination with the traditional primary health care, the Moody Health Centre also provides complementary therapies and offer an innovative approach to both chronic and acute conditions. The staff doctors of the Texas Chiropractic College recognize the significance of combining approaches that are traditional as well as non-traditional, making a perfect blend for the health care of the patients.
